The Stitch Festival – The Scottish quine takes the big city!
Over the last month you may have seen that I have been teasing some pretty big news and today I am so excited to share that… I am participating at The Stitch Festival in London! Can you tell I’m just a wee bit excited?
The Stitch Festival is an annual event that showcases an amazing range of independent brands and small businesses there to sell their products from fabric, patterns, tools, haberdashery, sewing machines, yarn and embroidery supplies. They also host a range of inspiring displays; catwalk shows and loads of workshops to take part in.
Threid Stitches will be part of the Indie Biz Village section of the festival, a curated selection of six exciting small businesses who are new to the show.
This will be Threid Stitches’ first major event and I it’s safe to say that I am incredibly excited, and a little terrified! I will be bringing my full collection of original hand embroidered art, fresh prints with the hand embroidered elements and of course, the best-selling abstract embroidery kits along with a couple of new additions, which will launch at the festival (more on that to come soon!)
During the festival, I will be welcoming new commission enquiries where show attendees will be able to share their visions with me and I’ll be able to book them in for bespoke commissions!
