'Green Fence' - Isle of Skye
A striking 5” original handmade embroidery hoop inspired by the beauty of the Scottish landscape. Perfect for wall art and display purposes this hoop is comprised of an eclectic and colourful combination of yarn and embroidery floss producing an impactful three-dimensional original piece of art. This piece of embroidery art was inspired by a trip I took to the Isle of Skye and draws on the beauty of the Scottish landscape of the area. You’ll see in the design a wee green fence that stands out as one of the main features and inspiration behind this hoop from a farm track road I took a stroll down in the Isle of Skye surrounded by rolling fields and greenery.
By bringing together colourful strands of mustard and green I was able to create this gorgeous vivid contrast of colours to enhance the beautiful view that I still dream about and capture a little piece of my experience of the Isle of Skye.
